Columbia School of Broadcasting releases an expanded set of broadcasting courses

Responding to the demand for more courses covering the many new positions being offered on the field of broadcasting, Columbia has developed and released 5 new courses. New Students,prior graduates of the school as well as seasoned broadcast veterans are welcomed to come back to the school for a refreshing new look at the broadcasting in the digital age. For 43 years Columbia School of Broadcasting's name has been synonymous with TV and Radio Announcing Training. The demand brought on by the digital broadcasting world had to be addressed. The new courses include Radio Station Programming, Introduction to Internet Broadcasting, Introduction to Digital Broadcast Journalism, Advanced Broadcast announcing, plus a re-introduction to Broadcasting Sales and Management in the modern age and Commercial Voice Overs. Although the new courses are offered at the Washington Metro Communications Center Headquarters, they can also be taught at other locations throughout the country base on demand.
The Broadcast Announcing Course which is taught through Home Study around the world is still the flagship course of school and it is constantly being updated to include new trends in the industry.
