The all new Honda CR-V is power-driven by a 166-horsepower inline four producing 161 ft-lbs. of torque. The 2007 Honda CR-V measures 35.7 cubic feet with the second-row seats intact and 72.9 cubic feet with them folded flat; that's up from 33.5 cubic feet and 72 cubic feet in the outgoing model.
Honda presents many standard features for the new 2007 CR-V. It is a package of side curtain airbags with rollover sensors, front side-impact airbags, active front head restraints, an electronic stability system, antilock brakes and a tire pressure monitoring system, the refined 2007 CR-V has yet to be crash tested. The new CR-V has Active Front Lighting that turns the HID lamps along with the vehicle.
The three trim levels – LX, EX and upscale EX-L are available in Honda CR-V. The EX has a one-touch power moonroof, chrome grille, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, the dual-deck cargo shelf, a six-disc CD stereo and 17-inch alloy wheels including the standard features in the LX. The EX-L has been added with leather trim, heated front seats, body-colored heated side mirrors and door handles, XM satellite radio, and a subwoofer. A satellite navigation system with rearview camera is merely presented on the CR-V EX-L. EPA estimated mileage will be 23/30 mpg on the CR-V LX 2WD model. Honda will be declaring the CR-V's price at a later date.
2007 Honda CR-V comes with two unique safety systems. The Collision Mitigation system that foresees collisions and warns the driver where as the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is a radar-controlled function to maintain a set distance to the vehicle in front.
