The first broadband live video chat sit reaches a new benchmark the same year it launches its live high definition video platform by winning Best Live Webcam 2006 at the Best Adult Awards

(Montreal) August 27, 2006 - Adult video chat site LiveCamNetwork.com was declared winner in the Best Webcam Site category at the 2006 Best Adult Awards, held last Saturday, August 26 in Montreal.
The site has been nominated often, but with this received its first award.
"Even though I was suprised, I think we deserved it especially with the work our team put in in the office as well as in the studios." said LiveCamNetwork new affiliate manager Mediachick, aka Stephanie Soucy.
"And it's good for us that we were only nominated before," said site founder and co-webmaster Mark Prince. "We were prepared for the mild traffic and attention of nominations. But now we are ready to take on the big boys. We have the tools, the back end, the performer base, and the award."
The event, hosted by YnotBob, boasted many industry luminaries such as TopBucks, Paymonde, PrideBucks and TooMuchMedia's John and Charlie.
The flagship site of a network of independant webcam sites built by 2much.net on their complete live video chat solution, LiveCamNetwork.com also inspired the software's name.
"An award for the site is really an award for the software," said Prince. "It's really about how close and intimate you can be made to feel by the technology."
"The LCN Girls, our chat hostesses, really deserve much of the credit," said Soucy. "It's their ability before the camera that has made the site rise above the rest."
Prince was joined onstage for his acceptance speech by LiveCamNetwork chat hostesses Alexxia, Kitsune and Kedra, as well as Violet and Desira, who were also presenters, and Emily & Serena, the official trophy girls for the soiree.
The basic reaction to the award was summed up by Prince in a post-event interview:
"When I heard LiveCamNetwork.com after the word 'winner'," Prince said. "It was like a hit from a joint packed with Sensimilla, dipped in Southern Comfort, laced with a little Viagra, toked between the toes of two Japanese Schoolgirls."
Best Adult Awards is hosted by Qwebec Expo, the Canadian adult tradeshow created by 3XWebDesign Michel Plante.
