November 9, 2006 (Press Release) --
LOS ANGELES -- Fox's prime-time schedule will be looking a little less rich and happy.
The game show ''The Rich List,'' which aired only once, and the freshman comedy ''Happy Hour'' have been pulled from the schedule because of low ratings.
A Fox spokesman declined to say whether the programs would return, but their numbers made that prospect unlikely.
''The Rich List'' was watched by 4.1 million viewers when it premiered last week, a fourth-place finish for its time period among the young adult viewers favored by advertisers.
The latest episode of ''Happy Hour,'' a buddy comedy starring John Sloan and former Chicago actress Beth Lacke, ranked fifth in its time slot among those 18-to-49 viewers.
For tonight, a new episode of ''The O.C.'' will fill the game show's 8 p.m. slot on WFLD-Channel 32. The drama, which just started its fourth season, also will air a new episode in its regular 8 p.m. Thursday time period.
An episode of the Brad Garrett comedy '' 'Till Death'' will replace ''Happy Hour'' in its 7:30 Thursday slot.
Also tonight:
• ABC airs its final episode of "Lost" before the drama goes on hiatus until February. Starting next week, the new series "Day Break" will air at 8 p.m. Wednesdays.
• "The Biggest Loser" expands to two hours, bumping two sitcom episodes. "Twenty Good Years" goes on the shelf, its fate uncertain, and "30 Rock" moves to Thursdays starting Nov. 16.
