RICHMOND, British Columbia -- Police said Friday that Denise Richards won't face charges for throwing two laptop computers over a balcony in a tussle with paparazzi in western Canada.
The actress was accused of hurling two laptops from a balcony at the River Rock Casino and Hotel on Wednesday, hitting two women below.
The 90- and 81-year-old women were sitting in the lobby when the computers hit them on their arms, causing minor injuries.
A Royal Canadian Mounted Police spokesman said the photographers, Richards and her management company have agreed to settle the matter civilly regarding the damages to the photographers' laptops.
