Girls between 13 and 17 years of age are being consumed by alarming statistics that predict disparaging outcomes. Teen Girlz Empowerment Summit is a social initiative leading change to combat those damaging systems of thinking.
“We feel that teen girls should be supported everywhere, whenever the chance arises,” states Lee, founder & president. “Statistically a large number of teenage girls are being impacted by pregnancy, suicide, HIV, and domestic violence. We must intervene to help our young women develop a sense of self worth.”
The Teen Girlz Empowerment Summit is facilitated in schools nationwide. The program is built on strengthening every young girl’s self-concept through a philosophy that incorporates prevention dialogue and strategic coaching.
When participating in the Summit, the girls are encouraged to commit to an Enrichment & Prosperity Pledge that proclaims affluence. That extension of encouragement is further expanded, as the girls can become Power Club Members and join a network of other supportive teens where mentoring relationships cultivate.
“First we inspire. Then we educate. From there, we transform. Our approach is revolutionary,” says Lee. “Our program model is helping young girl’s believe and welcome possibilities.”
