Is this Legal? PS3 Console Bait & Switch at Retail Stores.

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 17, 2006 -- Some are so desperate to get a new Playstation 3 console, that they are willing to pay $9000 on eBay. Many buyers will be tricked in buying as much as 8 games in order to purchase a console at retail stores after hours of waiting in line.

Sony Computer Entertainment America announced that it would release the PlayStation 3 in North America on November 17, 2006. Very few retailers have large quatities to sell Amazon and Walmart are not pre-selling. Best Buy and Circuit amoung others plan to sell the long awaited system during a special Midnight sale.

An inside source a Fry's reports that they have been told that customers will not be able to purchase PS3 consoles unless they purchase 8 games, At around $60 a game that a total in excess of $1000. Employees were also told under no circumstances were they allowed to tell customers this before hand. Does anyone no what false advertising means?

Last year during Xbox360 opening sales day many national consumer electronic retailers were reported to have done the same thing. Warning to all who are willing to wait in line, be prepared to pay up to $1500 for playstation console.

However a few online retailers namely eCost.com and estarland.com are serving up PS3 are selling playstation 3 systems now, from international stock. So if you got to have it - you don't wait in line.
