Bravo Productions was recently awarded two WESTIE Awards by the International Special Events Society, and has been nominated for a Gala Award by Special Events Magazine.

LONG BEACH, Calif., November 2006 -- Bravo Productions, a Long Beach, Calif.-based event production company was recently awarded two WESTIE Awards by the International Special Events Society. The awards were for Best Entertainment Production and Best Theme Décor. In addition, the Gala Award nominations have been announced by Special Events Magazine, and Bravo Productions is a nominee in the category of Best Event Produced for a Corporation or Association.
The WESTIE Awards is a regional competition, recognizing the special events industry best in California, Nevada, Colorado and other Western states. The ceremony was recently held in Denver. And like the film industry’s Academy Awards, the Gala Award also honors the most outstanding achievements over the past year in the special events industry internationally. The Gala Award nomination is for an event produced for the United States Army hosted in Louisville, Kentucky in August, and the winners will be announced at the magazines international conference & expo in Los Angeles in January
2007. The WESTIE Awards were for events produced for Torrance, Calif.-based Sunrider International and Monroe, LA-based The United Group, which was an awards program held in Orlando, respectively.
