City Theatre to Offer Online Ticketing For the 2006 � 2007 Season

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 20, 2006 -- Sacramento, CA November 16, 2006 � City Theatre at Sacramento City College recently completed preparations to offer online ticketing for their 2006 � 2007 season.

Tickets are available through the City Theatre website, www.citytheatre.net. City Theatre launched online ticketing this summer for the Sacramento Shakespeare Festival, providing easier access to tickets and no wait at the box office.

The City Theatre season continues with Ah, Wilderness! through December 10, 2006, with a family night on November 24. The remainder of the season includes The Merry Wives of Windsor in the January Studio slot (January 12 � 28, 2007), Translations in the first spring slot (February 23 � March 18) and concludes with Marisol (April 27 � May 20).

Season passes are also available online for the 2006 � 2007 season. The full season pass entitles the buyer to see the four remaining main stage productions, the studio production, one Storytime Theatre production and both of the 2007 Sacramento Shakespeare Festival productions. The regular season pass entitles the buyer to see the four remaining main stage productions, plus one ticket to either the studio production, a Storytime Theatre production or a 2007 Sacramento Shakespeare Festival production.

The full season pass is $60 and the regular season pass is $40, which equates to nearly a 50% discount over single ticket prices.

Performances will be held in the Art Court Theatre at Sacramento City College, 3835 Freeport Boulevard, in Sacramento. Parking is available next to the theatre on 12th Avenue. Patrons may also take light rail to the City College Station.

Online ticket prices are $14 for general admission and $9 for all matinees, which is $1 off regular ticket prices. A small fee will be charged. $10 tickets for students with ID, seniors, SARTA members, and persons with disabilities are currently available only at the City Theatre box office.
