St Albans, UK, November 13th, 2006 - Serena Software, Inc., the Change GovernanceTM leader, has appointed Mark Dallimore as channel manager for Northern Europe, with a brief to develop a strong partner programme to deliver Change Governance solutions across Northern Europe.
Mark joins from business and financial software provider Systems Union, where he was UK partner manager. Previous roles include EMEA channel manager for Navision (now part of Microsoft) and regional sales manager for Pantone UK.
“Mark is the ideal person to extend our partner channel, with great experience in similar roles and strong network of contacts,” said Ian Forsythe, Northern European Sales Director at Serena. “The channel is an increasingly important route to market for Serena, and we are committed to supporting existing partners and building new relationships across Northern Europe.”
Serena's channel proposition is centred around Operations Process Management (OPM). OPM solutions coordinate the work of multiple people and multiple systems in the enterprise workflow. Serena OPM solutions focus specifically on those processes at the intersection of application development and IT operations. Role-based views, a graphical process designer, on-the-fly configuration, and access to real-time data for anytime, anywhere access from any web browser are some of the features included in Serena’s TeamTrack® OPM product.
