I HEAR THE SONG AND IT WELLS IN ME is a collection of poetry writtten by over ninety individuals who are members of the Poetry Society of Michigan. All the authors are talented, Michigan poets who come from every ethnic background, educational level, age level, various professional backgrounds and from all levels of writing ability. Their common bond is their love of writing poetry. As a result there are a variety of themes and writing styles which are relevant, entertaining and inspiring. There are poems to suit every reader's taste. Julie George who is also past-President of the Muskegon Writer's was the compilet and the principal editor. Two assistant editors are longtime members ofthe Muskegon Writers, Wilbur Scrivnor and Robert James Jackson. The other assistant editor was Mono D'Angelo, the current Poetry Society of Michigan President and the President of the Downriver Poets & Playwrights of Wyandotte. The Poetry Society of Michigan compliles and publishes an anthology every five years.
