Lung Cancer Awareness Month in Texas

November 25, 2006 (Press Release) -- Texas governor Rick Perry signs proclamation once again declaring November 2006 Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

The request, submitted by Katie Brown of the Lung Cancer Support Community the second year in a row to increase their awareness of the deadliest form of cancer. Governor Perry's proclamation urges Texas to lend their support to fellow Texans diagnosied with the disease and their loved ones, and to pay tribute to medical professionals who provide such invaluable care.
