Pineapple Jumping Institute President Tom McKenna on Monday named Gordon Moss "Man Of The Year" for his contributions in the National Eggplant & Pineapple Toss.
"There is a lot more to our organization than just jumping pineapples. We do a lot to help the world and Gordon has contributed so much to the organization, especially his leadership in organizing the National Eggplant & Pineapple Toss. It was such a brilliant idea."
Upon accepting the award Gordon said "I'm really proud to accept this award, Tom. This organization means so much to me and I dream of creating the World Pineapple Jumping Championship within the next year. This is a truly incredible moment for me".
Gordon will receive a bronze statue complete with an equestrian horse jumping over a wooden pineapple as his "Man Of The Year Award".
