Blessings of Comfort celebrated as one of the newest members of the Germantown Area Chamber

Germantown, TN, November 29, 2006 - Blessings of ComfortTM, a young Christian web retail business, was recently celebrated as one of the newest members of the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce in Germantown, TN. Marcy Pate, founder of Blessings of ComfortTM and owner of the parent company Graceful Oaks Design, LLC,
was welcomed into the local Chamber by the Chamber�s Executive Director, Pat Scroggs, during a special ribbon cutting ceremony.

At one point during the morning�s festivities, Pate had the opportunity to speak about her choice of the Giraffe as the company�s branding image. She explained to members the significance of how the Giraffe lives and how it fits into her company�s corporate message. �The Giraffe is a fascinating example of how Christians should live,� explains Pate. �Think about the Giraffe for a moment. They stand tall and they feed on things above them for nourishment. They also live with animals different from themselves and watch out for the entire herd. And finally, although they are quite capable of defending themselves if the need arises, they actually exist quite peacefully.�

A message of encouragement, faith and outreach is the basic foundation for Blessings of ComfortTM and their line of apparel and fragrance products. Pate�s decision to create the Christian brand was made when she discovered some vendors were reluctant to offer items with a Christian message. While she admits this may not be the most popular decision among many business circles, Pate feels compelled to encourage Christians to express their faith openly.

An equally important aspect of the Blessings of ComfortTM business model is the desire to give back to the community. Pate has made a commitment to help bring awareness to non-profit organizations who share a similar vision. In her desire to help these organizations, she is developing a special Partners Program. Within the scope of this program, Pate will help bring awareness to the valuable services offered by and will also donate a large percentage of sales to benefit these partner organizations.
