FUND RAISING EVENT PLANNED FOR LOCAL PARKINSON FOUNDATION
Tempe, AZ.: The Arizona Chapter of the National Parkinson Foundation will be the recipient of funds raised at a special event to be held Friday, January 26 at Di-Zin Salon in Tempe from 4 pm to 9 pm.
For $85, participants will receive a salon service, hosted hor’deurves and refreshments and a gift bag.
Di-Zin is a full service salon for men and women located in the Tempe City Center at 1420 E. Southern Avenue.
Parkinson disease is a brain disorder which affects certain nerve cells and is characterized by shaking limbs, slowness of movement, rigidity of the limbs or trunk and poor balance. After Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson disease is the most common neurodegenerative disease.
