November 30, 2006 (Press Release) --
Minnie Wilde, an independent clothing line made with love in San Francisco, launches a new online boutique at www.minniewilde.com. The new site, designed by Flydesign, features the entire Minnie Wilde line in an online fashion forest where Peter Max inspired flora meets Minnie Wilde’s coquettish and iconic day-to-evening looks.
MinnieWilde.com promises an easy, refreshing and inspiring shopping experience. Shoppers can view and purchase Minnie Wilde’s complete line, which will be updated with each new collection. Pieces from other favorite lines such as Jordache Vintage Jeans are also available. Visitors can also find out about events such as fashion shows, in-store parties and sales.
The new site is inspired by the Minnie Wilde trademark look – an edgy twist on classic fashion combining unique fabrics, bold construction and unique details. Minnie Wilde is designed with the Minnie Wilde girl always in mind – she can mix a dash of vintage with a bit of designer and top it all off with something she might have made herself.
Flydesign’s diverse portfolio of clients includes IBM, Nikon and Sony, as well as San Francisco’s Mission Creek Music Festival, Nooworks, George Coates Performance Works and San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. Lianne Mueller is the creative director. Eric Grotke is the technical director.
Minnie Wilde was founded in 2001 by Terri Olson and Ann D'Apice, and the Minnie Wilde boutique is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District. The line, designed by Terri Olson, is produced locally in San Francisco. The boutique carries the Minnie Wilde line, vintage treasures, and products from independent clothing, accessory and jewelry designers - most of which are locally produced in San Francisco.
