London, 30th November, 2006: By the end of this year, personal loans worth over £5 million will be taken out to pay for cosmetic surgery. According to Sainsbury Bank, a fifth of these loans are taken out by men i.e. £I million.
With cosmetic surgery becoming a more acceptable phenomenon, a large number of men and women are looking towards personal loans as a means to fund cosmetic surgery, says Steven Baillie, loan manager at Sainsbury Bank.
Recent study results by the shows that more than a million pounds are spent on cosmetic surgery every day, with the average loan size for this purpose adding up to £6,500.
