The larger question looms ahead, who do they make money for? Well, for most newbie marketers who have not a clue as how the internet works, this usually spells disaster. Most people simply jump at the next big thing...going for the big prize...or another loosely used term...multiple streams of income.

The premise of multiple streams of income is that a person can make money promoting this and that and the other, but what often happens is that the would be guru marketer in the making simply loses focus. The loss of that focus leads to just another program being stored on the proverbial hard-drive of the computer. And again, the successful bigshot marketer wins...because they got the money.

In having said that, then the offset to that would be to really learn how to promote one thing effectively. That is what it takes. Just one thing well promoted makes money...just one thing focused upon will produce residual income...just one thing well thought out and approached logically and with due diligence will make passive income a reality.

Now for the tricky part. What is the one thing?

One must use extreme caution when choosing that one thing. Study, research and initial testing of the waters should be the rule of thumb. When approaching any project on the net, it is a really simple thing to do to just type in info on what one is searching for. Making the internet be what it is intended to be...information...good information...credible information...is what makes the big wheel of progress turn.

Many people insist on talking to others about any given subject...getting opinions about the projects, listening to conference calls...attending training meeting and so forth. But the bottom line is...one will never get anything done by attending a mass amount of training meetings of any kind. Once the training reaches a certain point, its time to go to work! Ah...the dreaded word...the word that strikes fear and loathing into hearts.

Living in the information age, all that is needed to find out relevant information about any subject at all...is just to type into the Google search box and find it. Its that simple. The websites which have the best relevant content for the keyword phrase searched for will come up on the first pages.

Another thing that must be considered when approaching a new found project is to read the policies and procedures of the company being researched. This will tell an inordinate amount of info about them...it will also tell if one wants to become involved or not. Too often, hidden deep in the policies and procedures of these companies, there will be a phrase that...in simplified terms says..."we can do anything we want...and there is nothing you can do about it."

Making residual income...passive income...automated income is certainly a possibility on the internet today. People everywhere are making money, living the life they choose and having fun. Its possible, but there is one thing for sure...none of that will be accomplished without a significant amount of work.

Dreaming about...and actually putting into motion the wheels that make success are two entirely different things. For most...the lure of quick money and fame will win out over the tried and true work ethic and disgruntled folks will condemn, criticize and complain that they were ripped off on the net again.

Another strikeout for the net.

Another pile of money in the devious owners pocket.

But...it does not have to be that way.

Its all about choices made...
