Sony has bought the comedy pitch My Wife Hates Your Wife from Princess Diaries scribe Gina Wendkos.
Will Smith is also on aboard as a producer, but while the writer is penning the script – which finds two couples hanging out together until the women feud and the men must continue their friendship in secret – with a plum role for the star, Big Willy’s waiting to see the finished project before signing on to do anything other than produce it.
