Solis joins Tom Foremski, Shel Holtz, and Chris Heuer for ongoing discussions regarding the evolution of the traditional press release

SAN JOSE, CALIF., Dec. 6, 2006 – Brian Solis, principal of FutureWorks PR, an award-winning, specialized tech PR agency, has joined the New Media Release (NMRCast) Podcast which discusses and explores the evolution of traditional press releases. Solis joins Tom Foremski of Silicon Valley Watcher, Shel Holtz of Crayon and For Immediate Release, and Chris Heuer Founder of SocialMediaClub.
The NMRCast is hosted on Shel Holtz's award-winning For Immediate Release (FIR) podcast.
The series was inspired by Tom Foremski's original post, Die Press Release, Die Die Die, where he tells the PR industry that things cannot go along as they are . . . business as usual while mainstream media goes to hell in a hand basket.
Solis is also on the Working Group for creating a standard for Social Media Releases along with Chris Heuer through Social Media Club, the organization they co-founded.
