Chabad and Chanukah Light up New Jersey
Chanukah this year promises to be a record breaker for the Chabad House at Rutgers University and its affiliate Chabad Houses throughout central and southern New Jersey.
As the Chanukah Holiday begins on evening of December 15, the Chabad House staff and its satellite offices are organizing over twenty-five programs, expecting tens of thousands of participants during the eight days of Chanukah.

December 15-16, 2006
Chabad House at Rutgers University will feature:
SHABBOS CHANUKAH! Friday Night Dinner Party for students.
Light candles by 4:13pm * Free!
A Chanukah Family Shabbaton will take place on Friday, Dec. 15, 4:30pm at Cong. Sons of Israel - Chabad, 1025 Deal Rd., Wayside.
All are invited to a complete Shabbat Meal featuring Challah, Gefilte Fish, Chicken Soup, and Roast Chicken with Kugel.

All Students are invited to a Brilliant Shabbos Service and Lunch at 10:00am at the Rutgers University Chabad House.
“Rock Out” at ChanukaFest at the Rutgers Student Center on Dec. 16 at 8:00pm featuring: Band! Food! Drinks! Hot Potato Latkes!
The fourth annual Central Jersey “Chanukah on Ice Spectacular” will take place Dec. 16 at 7:30-9:15pm at Princeton Sports Center, 1000 Cornwall Road, Monmouth Junction. Highlights will include sculpting and lighting of a giant 6-foot Ice Menorah, refreshments-including Hot Latkes and skating to Jewish Music. Admission is $5. Skate rental is included.
Chabad of East Brunswick will sponsor a Grand Menorah Lighting at 6:30pm in Brunswick Square Mall (JC Penny Court). The entire community is invited to come and help build The Giant Lego Menorah. Also featured will be The Dreidel House Theater featuring Judah the Macabbi, Arts N’ Crafts. Grand Raffles. Olive press show. Live music. Hot Latkes. Grand Menorah Lighting And Much More.
