Chiropractic Corner came online on November 16, 2006, by award-winning author and motivational speaker, Patrick K. Porter, Ph.D. The series, which is hosted by Porter, is intended to give chiropractors a preview of the latest advancements and technology within the chiropractic industry, while giving them up-to-the-minute information on training, seminars, and new tools and techniques.
An in-depth interview with industry leader, Dr. Karl Parker, kicks off this dynamic series of free podcasts, followed by discussions with industry leaders such as billionaire Bill Bartmann, Freedom from Fear author Mark Matteson, and the “king of patient follow-through,” Dr. Jerry Ac. When asked why he started Chiropractic Corner, Porter referenced a report in Chiropractic Economics, which showed that chiropractors across America experienced a 7.3% decrease in their salaries from 2005 to 2006. “I’ve been an advocate of chiropractic for decades,” says Porter. “When I saw those statistics, I realized that, while most chiropractors excel on the medical side, they are in dire need of help on the practice-building side. The huge response we’ve had in our opening weeks tells me that chiropractors are searching out ways to expand their practices.”
