The Eighth International Conference, “India: Investment Destination” is being organized on first week of January 2007 at New Delhi (India).

December 13, 2006 (Press Release) -- A large number of delegates from different parts of the world are participating in this Conference.

They include researchers and academicians, practicing managers, technical experts and consultants from countries such as USA, UK, Australia, Malaysia, Germany, Hong Kong, Finland, Iran, Lebanon, Qatar and all states of India.

According to Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Secretary General of www.internationalconference.org “ India is one of the fastest growing economy in world and becoming one of the hottest investment destinations among the various investment options in the fast growing emerging economies.

The booming Indian economy has a lot to offer for foreign investors, foreign institutional investors, venture capitalists, and portfolio managers etc. to leverage vast pool of natural, human and intellectual resources of rich Indian economy apart from various attractive investment opportunities.

The developed stock exchange, liberal investment policy and various other factors have given new dimensions to the lucrative ness of Investment Possibilities in the Indian Economy.

Mr. Singh states that the objective of the conference is to provide platform for researchers and academicians, managers & policy makers, delegates & students, etc., to share their research, findings & experiences and also to make a comparative analysis between India and other preferred investment destinations like China, etc.

According to Mr. Singh, the Eighth International Conference, “India: Investment Destination” is scheduled to be held on January 3-5, 2007 at New Delhi, in the light of rapid changes in the international financial flows and major investments getting diverted towards the emerging economies.

The subject of the Seminar Session will be Real Estate Development: Urban Versus Rural. In the Technical Session Economic Opportunities and Challenges: Global Perspective, Single Window Clearance: Dream versus Reality, FDI: India vis-ŕ-vis China, Infrastructure Development in India and Research Paper Presentations on Contemporary Issues will be discuss.

In this international event, the participation of large number of experts from different countries and areas would go a long way in providing comparative analysis and coming up with a consensus document which would help the Government and other bodies in making India a most preferred investment destination on every count.

It is becoming more important in the globalize environment where every country is competing for becoming a preferred investment destination for the global community.
