Sarajevo, BA -- December 18, 2006 -- LvB's X Announces Version 2.1 of Virtual Music Composer.
Composing music with no computer assistance, composing with the aid of a computer or music composed by the computer itself?
LvB's X is not a tool; LvB's X is the author of the music.
The software creates new musical motives and then, by program algorithm, develops it into complete musical phrases. LvB's X simplifies work by providing a simple graphical interface to be used even by those with no prior composing knowledge. This music editing software is completely new approach in composing, but, also, the first step in getting started in composing music.
This software is simple to use: all you have to do is "click" on two buttons and listen.
But, to get the best results, it takes time to listen, again, and again...
Remark: every note (pitch and duration) has its own sample - there are no musical predeterminations as loop-based samples). In other words, everything you heard is the result of the program's algorithm. The only musical rule that must be respected are bar/meter and scale settings.
"This software is not the helper for composing, but rather does the job of composers," said one of the members of the development team. "Instead of creating software that acts as a technical tool for composers, we have created a product which actually composes music using any of the unlimited possible variations available in music. In practise, one of consequence, as the result, can be some of the "well-known-song". In this case, it is up to user to make a distinction between "well-known-song" and "as-yet-unwritten-song".
Pricing & Availability
The software is available in three versions: Demo, Standard and Professional, for Windows OS. The Demo version of LvB's X is free and available immediately as a download at www.lvbsx.com.
The Standard version ($99.00).
The Professional version ($249.00).
The full Professional version is available for educational professionals for $75.00.
