Julia Ormond has committed to play Lindsay Lohan's mother in the thriller I Know Who Killed Me. And then Bobby jumps out of the shower and it was all a dream.
Fallon and Stone On Rockett
Jimmy Fallon and Sharon Stone have signed to star in indie drama Eliot Rockett. Fallon will play a man unable to commit to his girlfriend, who returns to his home town after his father suffers a stroke. Stone will play his mother.
Weather In Hell Reportedly Chilly
A third Tomb Raider film is not an impossibility. Now, before you start stocking up on canned goods and preparing for the apocalypse, it is very unlikely. But Ian Livingstone of Eidos told Eurogamer that Paramount have "agreed to hire a scriptwriter. That's nowhere near the green-light process, but it's a very healthy start". Healthy like smoking lard soaked cigarettes and doing brain surgery on a trampoline.
Mice On A Plane
Forget Snakes on a Plane, mice are the new terror of the skies. In a case of life (kind of) imitating art, 80 rodents were released from the bag of a man travelling on a Saudi plane, terrorising passengers. The critters struck at 28,000 feet, falling on passengers’ heads and generally running amok. The mouse-keeper was detained by authorities and the passengers calmed down and escorted off the plane upon landing. Hardly as terrifying as having a rattlesnake jump out of the the overhead compartment but you’ve got to give him points for trying.
Lyonne In The Dock
American Pie star Natasha Lyonne turned herself in to a Manhattan court on Friday, one year after a warrant was issued for her arrest (clearly it’s quite hard for the police to track down semi-famous Hollywood actresses). The charges range from harassment to trespassing and threatening to sexually molest a neighbour’s dog. The judge said all charges would be dropped if she continued with rehab and stayed out of trouble – which presumably includes not going within a thousand yards of the canine in question.
