December 20, 2006 (Press Release) --
Montecito Ventures ("MVI"), a California corporation, has created a $500 million media opportunity fund.
MVI has created this fund to invest opportunistically into established production companies and other media propositions suitable to our fund's criteria. We have created a very conservative investment environment for our investors - for every $100 we spend in our chosen film projects we will receive almost $80 in return prior to the film's release. This $80 comes in the form of state-subsidized tax rebates, federal tax breaks and domestic & international presales. Brand integration is another revenue source for our projects as well - as much as $14,000/second. Further, the $500 million in investment capital will have a AAA-rated insurance bond behind it to offer 100% principal protection to our investor(s).
Management and advisors of MVI are qualified to make assessments regarding the viability of film projects. Collectively, our management and advisors have credits and/or associations with films such as Rain Man, Batman, Upside of Anger, Passion of the Christ, Braveheart and others.
MVI is based in Beverly Hills, California and will soon be opening an office in New York City.
