Ambato, Ecuador (December 28, 2006) - The Hotel Embassy a four star establishment, formerly known as "Hotel Carolina", located here at Miraflores Avenue is under new management. The 58-room hotel is now managed by Mrs. Cinthya Freire and her husband Alex.

The Hotel recently completed a major renovation project that included upgrades to the hotel's guest rooms fascilities and public areas.

Guest Suites at the hotel feature king or double-bedded rooms, free cable and free high-speed Internet access. Some rooms also offer a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and hair dryer. The hotel also boasts a Sauna, Whirlpool/jacuzzi, Turkish sauna, gymnasium and a heated swimming pool. Rates start at $60.00 per night and include a tasty American or continental breakfast prepared by Cinthya, who is qualified as a Sous Chef.

Located very close to all attractions and events, the hotel is a great location for both business and leisure travelers. The Ambato Airport is only 10 miles from the hotel. A Taxi/pickup service is available for confirmed bookings.

Discounts are available when booked in advance on a space-available basis for seniors, business travelers, government and long-stay groups. Children, ages 12 and under, stay free when accompanied by an adult.
