The University of Atlanta, an exclusively online and distinctive institution of higher education, offers newly-designed, cutting-edge programs in a variety of highly marketable fields at both the Bachelors and Master's degree levels.* The institution’s virtual learning center is of the highest caliber: technologically sophisticated, charged with resource possibilities, and in all ways user-friendly.
A young university of standing, currently in a mode of enhancement and expansion, U of A surges forward: a recently-appointed leadership team of recognized specialists, a rapidly-expanding international faculty of 150 (of whom 97.4% hold doctoral degrees, evidence expertise in online education and manifest a proven commitment to student success), and new initiatives for 2007 (including complementary curricular options) signal the forward direction of the University and its unwavering commitment to excellence. Strategic outreach initiatives are geared so as to ensure that all programs are available and accessible to broad national and international student populations. The innovative instructional model presently in force will be further enhanced by the implementation of a peer mentor program, whereby high-achieving students and recent alumni are to provide supplementary support to fellow learners. The student body, largely adult and professional in profile, hails from five continents.
