(Cleveland, OH) Fresh Tracks Music has selected Indie Artist Damian Knapp to be part of the 'Debunkify' mobile tour.
Fresh Tracks Music, a Chicago based online music subscription site, features today's best independent music from all of today's mainstream genres. Knapp was chosen as part of Debunkify, in conjunction with their STZ (StandTunz) program, an organization to promote a tobacco free environment for everyone everywhere. The Debunkify mobile tour is visiting cities across the nation to “debunkify” the myths' about tobacco use and showcase artists from the Fresh Tracks Music roster
When Knapp and his eight piece band perform at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, OH on January 27th, he will be playing music from his latest release, “Will You Cry When I Die?” featuring music that was written by Damian and his late father, Peter Knapp. Peter was the founder and leader of the “I Don't Care Band” a mainstay on the Cleveland rock scene during the early 70's. They released one album on Buddah Records in 1976 titled “Ask Anyone.” The band shared the stage with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Frank Zappa, Little Feat, Gentle Giant and Glass Harp, among others. Damian will be presenting the music he and his father wrote together, in front of the Cleveland crowd that gave I Don't Care it's reputation as one of the most talented and innovative groups to ever come from the area.
