February 2007-National: Amber Communications Group, Inc., Phoenix, AZ, recently signed the exclusive worldwide rights to publish "Memoirs Of A Super Freak" by Rick James from the Estate of James Ambrose Johnson Jr. AKA / Rick James for ACGI's Colossus Books imprint.
The deal was negotiated by Darrell D. Miller, Esq. of Miller & Pliakas, LLP of Beverly Hills, CA for the Estate and Kendall A. Minter, Esq. of Minter and Associates, Stone Mountain, GA, corporate attorney for Amber Communications Group, Inc. and signed off by Ronald A. Kramer, CPA, Kramer Accountancy Corporation, Los Angeles, CA for the Estate and Tony Rose, Publisher/CEO, Amber Communications Group, Inc.
Singer, musician, record producer, arranger and composer, Rick James, a genuine musical genius of the 70's, 80's, and 90's and one of the 20th century's most popular artists, self-penned his life story. A true and fascinating account of his rise to international fame and fortune, beginning with his childhood and taking you vividly into the spotlight of his famous and troubled life. At the time of his death, Rick James had just finished writing his autobiography "Memoirs Of A Super Freak" as well as completing a new album. James became an instant icon with masterpieces such as "Super Freak", "Give It To Me Baby" and "Fire and Desire".

Jennifer Klein will produce through her Apartment 3B productions banner. John Farbes, a Texas-based entrepreneur will be an executive producer along with Mark Gill and Turner. Patrick Aluise of Aluise Entertainment will produce with Klein.
