Asked about custom-creating a sapphire engagement ring, INTA Gems’ client, Michael Ward, said, “My fiancé wanted something different for our engagement. She had her heart set on a cushion cut blue or pink sapphire engagement ring. At INTA Gems, we saw the largest selection of fine loose blue and pink sapphires. It was a hard decision, but we eventually chose a 5.78 carat cushion shape Ceylon blue sapphire. INTA Gems custom-made a platinum and diamond ring with antique filigree and hand engraving for the gem. When it was finished, it was beautiful and truly exceeded our expectations. It was the best sapphire engagement ring we could have purchased anywhere.”
