Bill’s Arena announces date for The Walk for Shared Parenting
Marietta, Ga., January 11, 2007 – Bill Sears (15), the founder of www.billsarena.com, has announced a date for The Walk for Shared Parenting.
The walk is being held on February 20, 2007 at the Georgia State Capitol on the Washington Street Side. There will be guest speakers and a legislative lobbying session following the walk. People have committed to taking part in this ground breaking event from as far away as Colorado, Missouri, Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Participation is estimated to exceed 100 people. For those that can not attend the walk please sign up and show your support for this important cause, Family Law Reform and Shared Parenting.
Bill was 14 years old when he designed and launched www.billsarena.com and the walk in April of 2006. He has managed the site and all of the marketing and development for the site as well as taken part in many Interviews and appeared as a featured speaker to the Georgia Legislature’s Committee investigating shared parenting and family law reform in the State of Georgia.

As a Freshman in high School Mr. Sears is an advocate for the youth of Georgia and the rest of the world on the subject of life after divorce. He presented some strong evidence as to why “shared parenting” (a combination of Joint Legal and Joint Physical custody) is in the best interest of children whose parents divorce.

ABOUT BILL SEARS – Bill is a 15 year old 9th Grader in Marietta, Ga. His interests besides his website are music and reading. He is an honor student and 1st chair Tuba Player, Electric Bassist in Jazz Band and plays the String Bass.
