AirDale Systems, Inc. AD - 100 vent actuator premiers at the International Poultry Expo Show 2007 Booth #5360. The AirDale AD - 100 is a livestock house vent actuator system designed by a farmer, Dale Beauchamp, for farmers. In addition to his experience in the poultry business as a Broiler Service Technician and a large scale grower, Beauchamp was known in his community as a professional installer and handyman of poultry house equipment. Years of helping exasperated farmers repair their failure-prone screw and winch based systems lead him to believe there had to be a better way. Beauchamp set out to develop a vent actuator system that would be worry-free 24/7 and deliver more accurate control of poultry house ventilation. The AirDale System was born.
“It works just like the sun coming up every morning” says one AirDale customer. Based on long proven industrial technology, the pneumatic system uses compressed airpower to bring unprecedented reliability to poultry farm vent actuation. There are no gears, no motors, no limit switches to fail like other systems. If the power should fail, the vent doors automatically open giving the livestock vital fresh air. Vent open / close speed control lets you vary the speed with a twist of a knob. Adjust vent speeds to open slowly and close fast for optimum energy efficiency and fuel savings in winter.
Though much of today’s poultry house is high tech with state-of-the-art controllers, these same houses use old style screw-thread and winch technologies that go back 20 years to open and close the vents .
