CharlotteMusician.com Launches Internet Radio Station of Local Music

CharlotteMusician.com launched Charlotte Indie Radio, an Internet radio station playing Charlotte area original music. The station went live on January 1st of 2007 and can be heard twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week from www.CharlotteMusician.com. Local musicians in all genres are encouraged to submit their original music for airplay. The station will feature Charlotte area music but will also play music from throughout North and South Carolina. The station is hosted by Live365.com. Charlotte Indie Radio is the first local music station in the country to be designed, created, funded, and operated entirely by indie musicians. By combining their resources and abilities, Charlotte area local musicians have created this station to side-step the traditional music industry in an effort to reach fans directly. The group intends to provide a place for local music lovers to hear NC and SC music at any time of the day or night.
