(Free-Press-Release.com) January 22, 2007 --
Walsh University student Cody Combs, a Government and Foreign Affairs major, has landed an internship on the popular CNN TV News Show, The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.
I am looking forward to this opportunity to continue public service through journalism. It will be very exciting to take my knowledge acquired through Walsh and apply it to real world situations, says Combs. It's exciting to have so many opportunities available, and it's equally exciting to be chosen to intern at a respected news organization like CNN. I'll return to Walsh next fall able to share what I've learned with others hoping to intern in DC, or anywhere else for that matter."
The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer on CNN is taped live from 4:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m. on weekdays in the cable giants D.C. studios.
Combs, an Alliance, OH, native, began his internship in early January and will work through the first part of May, 2007.
Walsh University is an independent, co-educational Catholic liberal arts and sciences institution that promotes academic excellence and diversity and provides close faculty-student interaction. It is dedicated to teaching its nearly 2,400 students to become leaders in service to others through a values-based education with an international perspective in the Judeo-Christian tradition.
