PR Grants Awarded to 24 Non-Profit Organizations
STRATFORD, CT. – 01/24/07 -- CyberAlert, Inc., a worldwide media monitoring, press clipping and TV news monitoring service, today announced the 24 recipients of its 2007 Public Relations (PR) Grants to Not-for-Profit Organizations. The 24 grants represent a 33% increase from the previous year. Each grant is for one free year of online news monitoring service using CyberAlert 4.0. The total value of this year’s grants approximates $65,000. Since starting the PR Grants program in 2004, CyberAlert has awarded a total of 74 grants with a retail value of more than $125,000.

ALS Society of Canada

Funds research on ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis / Lou Gehrig’s Disease), supports provincial ALS societies in providing care to persons living with ALS, and provides public information to build awareness of the disease.

Focusing on the issues of domestic and dating violence, provides domestic violence prevention, early intervention, and public education services.
