Service Allows Users to Digitally Record Both Land Line and Cell Phone Conversations

1/24/07 - Businesses looking to keep digital recordings of phone calls on land lines as well as company cell phones may now do so using one service, says website Record Cell Phones.com (http://www.recordcellphones.com), and may do so without the need for extra equipment via Call Recorder Cards.
"Traditionally, there was a need to purchase extra digital recording equipment to be integrated with an existing phone systems to record phone conversations," said a spokesperson for the website. "With the Call Recorder Card service, all calls are re-routed through a telecommunications switch and recorded offsite, thus the need for bulky extra equipment is eliminated."
Working much like a pre-paid phone card, the user's phone conversations are re-routed through a telecommunications switch and digitally recorded. The calls can then be played back either by dialing in to an account, much like a voicemail system, or accessed via the Internet from a computer. Any number registered under a company's (or person's) name may be used with the Card, therefore the service works for both land lines and cell phones.
