“Sneaky” Pete Kleinow
(1934-2007)
“Sneaky” Pete was known through the years as a “musician’s musician.” He was a kind and generous soul who had played and recorded with an impressive list of musicians including Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Joan Baez, Frank Zappa, John Lennon, The Rolling Stones, The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers. He also developed special effects for movies such as The Empire Strikes Back, Gremlins, The Terminator, and Terminator 2 while continuing to work as a musician.
All are welcome to come celebrate his extraordinary life.
The Memorial Services will be held on:
Saturday, January 27 at 4:00pm
Joshua Tree Retreat Center

“Sneaky” Pete’s daughter Anita Kleinow, has invited many of her father’s musician friends to the memorial service. There will be a jamming session afterwards in memory of his legend and legacy.
