January 26, 2007 (Press Release) --
I've tried almost everything in the world on the Internet to make money and have to admit I pretty much failed all of them. I literally spent thousands of dollars and probably thousands of hours trying to make something work on it.
It's not like I'm a dumb person mind you, I have a high IQ and I'm actually quite technically oriented and business minded, but the riches available on the Internet has been hard to grasp and hold onto.
I thought MLM would be a great thing to do and was told so by my new "upline". In fact my first serious foray into Internet marketing was through a network marketing company.
What a disaster.
I quickly discovered that all I was doing was promoting the lead guy of this company at my expense. It was actually a rather brilliant campaign if I say so myself. He got US to promote him and pay for the privilege to do so!
Maybe I'm really not that smart after all.
By using his well-known name we would call up individuals that we had acquired from leads, tell them we represented him, and asked them what we could do to help them and their lives.
We never mentioned the network marketing company by name but directed them to a web site with His name on it. Now mind you We bought the leads, We paid for the web site, We paid for the phone calls and postcards and mailings and e-mail accounts etc. etc. ad nausea and He raked in the money.
Was anybody else as stupid as I was?
The other thing that drives me crazy about the Internet is the absolute enormous quantity of garbage to sort through. I now have well over 25 e-mail addresses that most assuredly acquire a thousand spam a day. Don't ask me why I have so many e-mail addresses because the answer is I was trying to market so many different things and find something that would grab hold and move forward. So far that hasn't been the case.
But then everything changed with what at first I thought was a scam: EDCGoldUSA.com
Why in the world did I decide to join a company with a name like this? I actually wouldn't have done it if it hadn't been recommended by a friend. I wouldn’t even have bothered searching for a company like this and what I thought it was.
But, I remembered a very funny commercial on TV when the guy had a got a message that popped up on the screen that said, “You have reached the end of the Internet!” Obviously that's an impossible suggestion but I had reached the end of my rope as to what to do.
So I called up the owners and talked to them directly and found out that they were real people. They actually answer their own phones and will talk to anyone who is interested.
The way they were paying out the compensation plan at first sound fantastic and unbelievable, yet through a little bit of study I found out that what they were doing was only making the residual monthly income and giving us 100% of the commission in the process.
This was brilliant.
Not only did they understand proper sales techniques, ones that would motivate people to move forward, they set up a system that was second to none. And in this system they had three levels for people to buy in. I had seen other systems that cost $3,000, $5,000 and even $25,000 and like you (probably) scoffed at such a thing.
Here was one that you could get in for $15.
Now granted $15 doesn't make you a whole lot of money but absolutely anybody can start at that level and move up. And hey, several $15 accounts a month would pay for part of the marketing that you were doing, so why not?
The next level up was $297 which surely can be afforded by anyone, and the highest level is for $997 which is what I decided to join at.
I made my money back in three days.
I then used my marketing skills I had worked on the Internet over the previous five years and within 2 weeks signed up 19 people. Granted not all of them paid but this was more than I'd ever had in a year of marketing any of the other programs.
So like you, I probably would never have joined such a program if it hadn't been for a friend of mine and his recommendation. Now I'm so enthralled by what has happened that I am telling the world in every way shape or form-including this letter.
The Internet has finally delivered what I had dreamed of for the previous 10 years! My Internet Quotient (IQ) has risen dramatically along with my income.
