Just what are your products doing to your health and environment?

Through extensive research, we have found that not all products labeled “all natural” really are all natural. Most of the supposed ‘natural’ mineral makeups contain Bismuth Oxychloride. Bismuth oxychloride can accentuate pores, making them look larger as opposed to concealing them. It is also responsible for that overly shiny look other big name mineral makeups can produce. Finally, bismuth oxychloride causes irritation, itching, rash and/or breakouts in some women. For these reasons, you will never find bismuth oxychloride on the list of ingredients in any of our products. As for soy candles, well, they aren’t necessarily all soy. Most are mixed with palm and various other waxes which can still cause black smoke, faster burning and messy containers.
That is why, starting January 1 of 2007, R Stuf Products has gone ‘all natural’. We have conducted extensive research into the companies we purchase from and only do business with those who are all natural. Another very important aspect of this decision is that our companies do not do any form of animal testing. We can say, without question, that all of our products are all natural and never animal tested. Our soy candles are made from 100% natural soy with paper/cotton wicks. Our makeup is made from only the finest natural minerals available. We feel as though this change will bring about new and wonderful things for our customers.
R Stuf Products are proud members of the Iowa Soybean Association as well as CandleSafety.org. Recently we joined the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics to ensure we are providing our customers with the safest cosmetic products available. As you can see this is important to us and only the beginning for the company.
