OHSU Tram Provides Unprecedented Outdoor Recreation Opportunities
A new craze is sweeping the Northwest. Since the medical profession took to the skies, people are flocking from all over to go "Doctor Watching" in Portland. So popular is the new hobby, that a volume in the National Audubon Field Guide series entitled, "Doctors of the NorthWest" is rumored to be in preparation.
Americymru approached doctor-watching enthusiasts in the field to quiz them about their hobby. Dexter Poindexter (36) of Umatilla County, Oregon said: "Today I've seen two pediatricians and a gynaecologist.... i'ts awesome!".
As yet another tram car sped by, there was a flurry of excitement in the ranks of the assembled onlookers. "Oh my God," one was heard to exclaim, "I've just seen a dietitian, a psychiatrist and a Swedish fantasy proctologist all in the same car." Fantasy proctologists are nocturnal beasts and daytime sightings are extremely rare.
Dexter Poindexter explained his fascination with the new craze in between scribbling notes of his latest sightings in his logbook: "It's awesome...being able to observe the different species in the wild. You should be here for the annual migration. There are thousands of them all swirling and squawking in the sky before they head off to Cancun. Of course you have to watch out for the guano."
Mr. Poindexter, who is also an avid collector of flashlights and used beermats, founded the Oregon Doctor-Watchers Directory ( O.D.D.) last year and says that the organization is eager to recruit new members. Applicants should apply via email to this address. Email ODD
