Apple has provided results of its internal review and independent investigation into past stock options grants to the Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Attorney's Office, it said in an SEC filing.
The company has received informal requests for documents and additional information, it also said.
Apple said it intended to continue full cooperation. However, the company added: "Resolution of these matters will be time-consuming, expensive, and will distract management from the conduct of the company's business."
