Long Island, NY – KMC Marketing Inc. has tapped its nationwide network of golf professionals, real estate experts, and in- house proprietary technology to offer direct marketers a focused list of active country club golfers.
Long sought after and considered the holy grail of all consumer segments, the country club golfer has traditionally been an optimum target of marketers. They have, however, been an elusive group of buyers to get marketing offers in front of. That is until now.
Started by its president, Kevin Casey in early 2005, KMC Marketing has brought to market a suite of direct mail lists that focus on Private Golf Club Members. The KMC Marketing team boasts successful partners in the fields of golf retail, financial services, travel, real estate, luxury autos and other affluence categories.
“By sharing our marketing experiences over the years, we found that we were all targeting the same profile. That is; the high net-worth, active, social spender with huge appetites for goods and services and plenty of that discretional capital. Our clients are particularly excited to have the double benefit of getting in front of these qualified consumers as well as producing sales copy that can appeal directly to golfers and their sensibilities.”
As a whole, the KMC list properties currently contain addressable data to over 200,000 private golfer households, representing over 3000 private clubs in 45 states. They have an eye on doubling the number of households by the end of 2007.
Early beta testing to determine response rates went so well, that KMC recently hired veteran list manager Names and Addresses, Inc (Buffalo Grove, IL) to represent its properties to national mailers. The KMC organization also offers in-house customized solutions for local and regional mailers. The team continues to encourage the direct response community to test the KMC lists to enhance response rates and to streamline costs in an environment of increasing postal, paper, and printing rates.
