February 10, 2007 (Press Release) --
BNP tells rapper we don't hate Blacks.
London Rapper Dezire McNeish posted his video Urban Streets Dvd promo online containing footage, that was shown on the ITV end of year 2006 highlights, depicting a march against terrorism, unfair targeting of Muslims by police and BNP political activities.
Received an e-mail from the BNP saying that they don't hate Black people and it is the white liberal middle class that are the true enemies and they feed of race hate and benefit the most from it.
Quotes from the e-mail contain the following.
"I do say that you misjudge the BNP as white supremacists. While it is true that we are against immigration and have campaigned against black immigration, we also vigorously campaign against white immigration like the Polish or Slovaks…all of whom are very white."
"Blacks were given bad housing and ghettoized for the purpose of then pretending that there was a racist agenda in this Country."
The e-mail goes onto further say that the tools of the digital democracy will allow for a constructive debate in issues of race and will be a good thing.
Dezire a performer at the Urban Music Awards 2006 said "I couldn't believe what I was reading; I mean these people were putting up them Vote BNP stickers in and around my neighborhood. I mean tell me what Black or Asian man is voting BNP.
The Urban Streets Dvd also gets deep on the political side about the thieving of our civil liberties as well. As well as working on the DVD, Dezire is involved making a program with the BBC and has already been contacted by an American news channel about this video.
