(Midwest) Worldwide Baseball Prospects is proud to welcome aboard their new National Player and Parent Baseball Advisor, Mr. Joe Cintron. Cintron was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. and raised in Puerto Rico, Joe is also the nephew of former Pittsburgh Pirates and Boston Red Sox left handed pitcher Ramon Hernandez who played in the 60’s & 70’s.
Joe has worked in this capacity since 1997 with several prominent Sports & Entertainment Agents from California, Steve Linett-Los Angeles and Stephen Deffner San Diego. Joe Cintron’s official documentation is filed administratively in Major League Baseball’s front office in New York City, N.Y.
More than 33 players & families have benefited from working alongside this great baseball leader. These players were drafted through the 1st Round and 3rd Rounds. A total of another 71 players have been drafted after these rounds.
30 of these players find themselves on Major League Baseball rosters actively today. Over another 120 players have also been advised, to pursue their education & dreams so that they could become successful in life.
Joe has 15 years of professional experience as a coach, and 10 years as a Player Advisor. His passion, dedication and knowledge of the game, coupled with the process expertise on taking care of the players and their families stand him apart from many in the business. His major accomplishment is advising players and families, but also advising the family of 2000 Draft Pick, First Overall 1B-Adrian Gonzalez (Florida Marlins) now with the San Diego Padres.
His continued dedication to players and families has Joe always adhering to MLB First Year Player process, and NCAA Player Agent Amateurism Provisions.
