This "Web 2.0" everybody is talking about is nothing else but an evolution of the Internet's basic principles. Participation with a focus on users. Brands and services that made during the last years are courageous enough to innovate and to reinvent their interaction with users, allowing them to access and to share the World Wide Web resources.
LowCostPlanet.com was born intending to establish new standards in the search for travel and touristic services. A service built upon the final user and responding to travellers' need for transparency and ethics, built up in belief that quality services apt to deeply satisfy travellers and to ease their research was definitely far better sighted than simply reselling trips and collateral services.
The services's mains characteristics are:
- It is possible to find and compare prices, offers and availability of all low cost and line flights, hotels, hostels, car hire services, sea cruises, travel and holiday packages (we have conventions with most of the main operators).
- Ethics and transparency: our search engine is a "clean one", simple and user friendly, without advertising. No user registration is required and, most important, results are ordered by price increase.
- LowCostPlanet.com is not a broker, but a comparison service. We do not sell or deal services, and we do not ask a commission on fights or trips you buy. So we do not apply price increases.
- Search can be personalized and applied in advanced mode. Assisted destination entry avoids all possible user errors.
- Several extra search systems, including affiliation with some of the main Italian portals, our LowCost Toolbar, and RSS feeds make offer consulting an easy task.
- A network of in-theme directories (flights, cruises, hotels, hostels...) directly managed by LowCostPlanet's editors allows to widen and complete searches.
