February 13, 2007 (Press Release) --
US Army Staff Sergeant (SSG) Michael Woodland has brought a new service business to Columbia, SC. The innovative, environment friendly service is Mike’s Bike Transport, a bike taxi company. The bike taxis or pedicabs are human powered bikes that comfortably transport 2 to 3 adults. The mission of the service is to assist individuals that are attending special events in the Midlands area from their parked cars in outlying areas to the front door of the event.
Mike’s Bike Transport also advertises for local companies on the body of the pedicab. Partnering with local businesses to reach new populations of customers is another primary objective of Woodland’s business. Signs by Tomorrow is taking full advantage of this advertising opportunity with the pedicab service.
Midlands residents most recently enjoyed the services of Mike’s Bike Transport on Feb 2nd at Monster Trucks at the Colonial Center , the Step Show on Feb 3rd at the Township Auditorium, and the Rascal Flatts concert on Feb 9th at the Colonial Center. Instead of being late for the event or walking too far a distance, many enjoyed Mike’s Bike Transport service.
The Billy Joel concert on Feb 14th at the Colonial Center and Whats Done in the Dark at Township on Feb 15th -18th are next on Mike’s Bike Transport’s calendar. “Let us take you there”.
