Cactus League spring training schedule: Plan your 2007 Arizona golf/baseball vacation

February 16, 2007 (Press Release) -- A dozen Major League Baseball teams host Spring Training in Arizona, including native sons, the Diamondbacks. These days it's a virtual necessity to buy tickets before game day and if you'll be combining an Arizona golf vacation with baseball, you'd also do well to lock in your tee times well in advance.

The teams that work out in Arizona are clustered in two areas, with nine training in the Phoenix/Scottsdale golf mecca and another three that call up-and-coming golf destination Tucson their spring home.

In the Phoenix-Scottsdale resort corridor, you'll find the Mariners and Padres in Peoria, the Giants in Scottsdale, the Royals and Rangers in Surprise, the Athletics and Brewers in Phoenix, the L.A. Angels in Tempe, the Cubs in Mesa.

The Diamondbacks, Rockies and White Sox all call Tucson home this time of year.
