February 20, 2007 (Press Release) --
With the popularity of websites like YouTube.com and Google Video, there's a whole lot of amateur movie makers coming out with their own little how-to productions. Some of them are helpful, some are pretty funny and entertaining - but others can be potentially dangerous.
One how-to video we came across recently (which can be seen at www.VisionRestoration.com) demonstrates how to make your eyeball explode with a fork. The "star" of this video says he's doing his version of a Penn and Teller magic trick.
While it is very funny - it can also be very dangerous if it's not performed properly.
There are many people in the world who suffer from eye problems who would do practically anything to get their former vision back.
That's why it would be such a shame for someone with perfect vision to ruin their eyesight doing some stupid trick to amuse their friends.
Parents need to monitor what their kids are watching online to help protect them from some of the crazy stuff that's available to them.
If you or a loved one suffers from any type of eye problem or you'd like more information on ways to improve your vision, stop by
