Over the period to 2015, at least $3.4 billion is likely to be spent on subsea processing systems, which in the most favourable conditions could increase to $5 billion. Operator opinion has evolved over the past three years and now many have firm plans to install, with the prospect of improved recovery and production driving uptake. These are amongst the results of a unique new study from energy analysts Limited and oil & gas technology specialists OTM Consulting.
The study examines the potential for subsea processing to permanently ‘change the game’ of offshore oil & gas production. The report is aimed at executives and technology managers but assumes the reader has no prior knowledge of the subject.
